The Station Theatre

Saved from the wrecking ball by a community theatre group, the Smith Falls Train Station has been transformed into a theatre and reception centre that draws on its past and present for its architectural imagery. The building's timber frame has been reinforced with steel rods and bolted brackets reminiscent of the age of steam, the balcony seating is accessed by way of a miniature suspension bridge, and partitions and features present themselves as cut out stage-sets.
